This 1911 Sight set uses the Heinie 1911 proprietary dovetail cuts. The SlantPro style rear sight is designed with concealed carry (EDC) as it’s primary focus. The sight is contoured and completely snag free. The rear face is serrated and slightly slanted forward to help eliminate glare from any light source. The CNC Machined Cross Dovetail front sight in this set also features a serrated face. Machining of the slide is required for installation. Heinie recommends using a competent pistolsmith for installation. HSP offers 1911 sight installation, turn around time is currently running about 1-2 weeks.
